This thing about Dan is he’s not just a Photographer. He’s a Creative Director who builds narrative through set and lighting design, which in turn helps his clients realize bigger, more fully-formed creative visions for their brands. Dan often has bigger ideas for what he’s shooting than his clients do - and that’s the kind of person you want to work with. It’s an astonishing value add compared to other photographers who just show up to shoot what’s in front of them. I think of him as an on-going collaborator and on top of that he’s wicked fun to spend the day with.
