Good experience. This is an actual photography store and they provide high quality prints. Staff was friendly on the phone and in person. I took in film that was over 20 years old and I wasn’t expecting anything to be salvageable. Surprisingly ABC was able to develop the negatives and get some decent prints off of the film. The only things preventing me from giving a 5 star review are the short operating hours and the cost being a bit steep. I will go back in the future.

BRUTALLY RUDE: Avoid the woman with the short greying hair!
I brought my teen son here as he is a budding photographer and we wanted advice on blowing up one of his favourite prints as his present to me. The woman giving us the technical advice made so many critical comments and asked why we would want that photo. I was shocked and my son was mortified. We left without ordering the photo. Luckily he still enjoys photography but now that we have more photos we want to make into large pieces we’ll have to search for another place. I don’t understand how they can keep someone like that in a customer-facing position.

Very poor quality of the photos taken.

I paid 32.5 for 2 photos and,
$8.99 one has to pay for emailing photos to your email account.

My wife took photo at waterfront, quality is way better.

I would not recommend this place.

Positive: lady was nice, she reimbursed me $8.99 but I lost $22 and now I have to pay $20 again for the same photo at the place my wife took hers.

Very disappointed, money are waisted.
Please do not make the same mistake

They don't answer their phone when there's still 20 minutes in the day left, and when they say "pick up tomorrow", they actually mean "two days from now when you come in, we're gonna tell you it's still not ready, and even though you gave us your # on the order, we won't text or call you to update." Solid work folks, really stepping up to the plate and servicing the film community in Vancouver.

I recently had my very first film camera roll developed and scanned here, and I really like the result. A staff named Esther was so much helpful, answering my questions with easy to understand explanations. She is professional and her service was amazing. I brought my second film roll here as well because of Esther. I plan to continue using this place for as long as I am in Vancouver.

Very beautiful shop. Came for my passport photo, the woman there was very professional and friendly. She took a few shots to choose from and made sure I looked my best and was to the proper standards.

Went into ABC with a fairly sizable project I wanted prints for. The person working at the counter was unhelpful and their manner was rude and hurried. I went in hoping to use their expertise to find the best path for the project and instead was met with an aggressive feeling behavior that left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. No questions about what i was looking for or trying to achieve, and no apparent desire to provide real information about the products. I used to use ABC back in the day when I produced more prints and was happy to be going back as they always had decent quality. But they really need to figure out who is working with the public as this was a terrible experience that left me feeling quite icky.

Incredible service and quality every time. Myself and my family have been loyal customers for almost 20 years. The staff are exceptionally professional and generous with their time and knowledge. I always feel heard, even when I'm not sure how to ask for what I need. My images always come out exactly as I asked, and prices are very fair. An exceptional Vancouver business that I would recommend to all.
