Kirk photographed our elopement wedding in Niagara-on-the-lake in July 2024 and did an amazing job with our photos! Could not have asked for a better photographer; he is easy going with a great sense of humour. We loved working with him. He helped bring my vision to life by listening to my ideas and getting way more than enough great shots!
I found Kirk online while searching for a photographer in the area and he was the only one that offered an elopement package at a very reasonable price. We got much more than expected!

Kirk has done our engagement photos, wedding photos, and most recently maternity photos. He was amazing to work with each time.

Kirk is extremely professional, communicative and knowledgeable. He is very good at directing and guiding poses; and efficient at taking many photos in a short time. He also makes the entire photoshoot process very enjoyable and with great conversation. Kirk excels at what he does and clearly has a great passion for it.

He spent 10+ hours with us on our wedding day, meticulously capturing every special moment; and his rapport with our family and friends made him seem like one of our close guests rather than a vendor. He also worked seamlessly with our videographer.

We found Afterglow Images while searching for wedding venues and Kirk's expertise and familiarity with our chosen venues was key. He knew the best locations for all of the shots. He also suggested great locations for our engagement and maternity shoots.

Where can we even begin... Kirk is an astonishing photographer and videographer. He came highly recommended by our wedding venue, and upon our first call with him, we knew we were in his excellent and highly capable hands.

We met Kirk in person in October, 2023 for our engagement shoot - yes, he includes a complimentary engagement shoot in the wedding package. We had a great time with Kirk - he always keeps things light and provided us with the direction we needed! The photos were stunning.

Then... skip to our wedding, this early July, 2024. Kirk showed up early, equipped with jokes and his incredible energy. He made the day fly by like a breeze. We figured he captured some great shots, since the day felt amazing. But we we were shocked when we saw our day through his lenses.

We could not imagine more perfect or more thoughtful pictures than what Kirk took for us. He captured each special moment of the greatest day of our life and we are so thankful for his patience, kindness, and incredible talent. We will forever cherish these beautiful photos.

Kirk is so kind and fun to work with. He makes the process fun and easy, and he truly has that eye for the perfect angles and poses. He listens to what you want, and he is efficient and keeping you on your schedule. We are both a little shy about photos, but he knew how to help us look natural.

I am beyond thankful I decided to take the plunge and booked a maternity shoot with Kirk and Afterglow Images. I had a very specific aesthetic in mind going into the shoot and Kirk delivered, and then some. The photos are absolutely breathtaking and he made me look and feel like an ethereal pregnant witch goddess. I have a tendency to do weird things with my face in photos out of anxiety, and he made me feel completely at ease--even during boudoir-style shots. Kirk is communicative, super laid back, accommodating in terms of scheduling, and a blast to work with. My husband and I traveled from Buffalo, NY, and made a day out of it. I genuinely had fun hiking to different sites and chatting during the shoot. If you're looking for a photographer to capture cherished moments--look no further.

I'm incredibly late to the party writing this review. Kirk photographed our wedding in August and it was the most amazing experience you could ever ask for of a photographer! My husband and I are both incredibly camera shy and Kirk managed to put us both at ease telling jokes getting the conversation going and just making it an all around easy experience for us. We were just in an outdoor park setting and Kirk managed to take hundreds of photos and none of them were the same as the previous. The lighting and the style is different in every single one, he Incorporated natural elements to make them incredibly special and very unique. He captured a beauty between my husband and I that I didn't know was there until I got to see the photos and I cried they were so perfect!
Let's be honest wedding photographers are insanely expensive and not many of them are willing to change how they do things for their clients, but that is simply not the case with Afterglow Images and Kirk. He was willing to work with us to make a package that fit our needs and our budget for our wedding and gave us everything we asked for and more. If you're getting married soon this is the guy you want to hire! You will not be disappointed take my word for it!!
