Regretfully I am not able to recommend Benjamin Service. Seems like a nice MD and I see the review are good. My experiences were unfortunately not. I had three appointments with him, the first went well. But the other two I had to wait 55 minutes the first time and 45 minutes the second time before I had to leave without being seen. On both occasions I made early morning appointments at 7:50 and 8:15 am. I made these early appts weeks out so that I could get in and out so I could get back to work. I know emergencies come up and am patient, but this seemed egregious for a waiting time so early in the morning. In both occasions I left without being seen and thankfully I did not pay my co-pay. To further the disappointment no one from the office called to apologize for the wait and not being seen. Again, he seems good to work with based on the review, just not in my case.

I had an appointment with Dr. Service to look at a shoulder issue. Both he and his entire team were fantastic. Very informative, very down to earth, and absolutely made me feel comfortable about moving forward with a necessary surgery.

I would highly recommend Dr. Service and his team for any of my family and friends.

Dr. Service is by far the BEST DOCTOR in any capacity that has ever cared for me, as I have been a patient of his for 7 years now. He has done 3 surgeries on my right shoulder and bicep and 1 on my left shoulder and bicep, which were badly needed. Prior to these surgeries I was in excruciating pain and time after time, Dr. Service has been able to make me better and brings me back to the life as best as possible.

He is BY FAR the most compassionate Doctor, with the best bedside manners that I have ever treated with. You will never leave his office dissatisfied, and he will make sure that you understand your injuries the best way possible, while exploring every possible way other than surgery. Even if you have to get surgery with him, you will never be disappointed as he goes to work on his patients in the best way possible. I wish I could give more than 5 stars as he has changed my life as well as my family since I can continue to have a normal life. I highly recommend Dr. Service and his staff for all of your treatment.

When my journey started I was so scared. I’m too young to have a partial shoulder replacement. Dr. Service, his assistant Conner and his entire team have been amazing and encouraging. Since the beginning, everything from day one has been explained so I can understand what was happening. Doc also took time between my appointments and sent me a private message, on my chart, asking how I was feeling. I highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Service and his team!

While waiting to see Dr. Service for my appointment I was conversing with a patient of his and asked her how she felt about him. She was so positive and even showed me her scar from her shoulder replacement. I was very impressed with the care he took to make the scar presentable so she might be able to wear a sleeveless blouse, once it heals. Another patient was there and added nothing but compliments about Dr. Service. Personally I feel extremely comfortable with this Doctor and am so happy to see him whenever he thinks it's time for me to proceed with my first shoulder replacement.
He's worth the wait because he's thorough, caring, and from what I've heard an excellent surgeon.

If there were more stars, I would choose those too. I had so much anxiety heading into this surgery, from an earlier botched shoulder surgery by another Dr, that I almost fabricated an excuse to not go. We were recommended by Andrew's Sports Institute and endured a nine and a half hour drive to go through with it. Backing out would have been a huge mistake and I'm so glad I followed through with Dr. Service. My wife and I have a lot of Dr and hospital experience and we both agree, that this, was hands down the best healthcare we have ever experienced. Everyone was so caring, excellent at their responsibility and genuinly interested in making our experience a special one. From the valet parking to check in, to surgery prep, to being punctual, everything was handled better than we ever expected. I would tell you, if you have the ability to utilize this medical group, do it! Thanks Dr. Service for being so professional and having a team that you should be very honored to have. I appreciate Dr Service because although a surgeon he suggested more conservative modalities as a first step in an attempt to bring resolution to my shoulder rotator cuff injuries. It would be easy to recommend surgery but I feel he genuinely has the patient's best interest in mind. Aside from his professionalism and ability to think outside the box he has an excellent reputation and bed side manner . I spoke with other orthopedic surgeons and he demonstrated a willingness to help me heal above and beyond surgery . His staff are first rate and well trained as well. I highly recommend Dr Service as an orthopedic doctor
