Wow, where to begin. When my husband and I started to plan our wedding, having Chellise Michael Photography shoot our wedding was a non negotiable - in fact we would have changed our wedding date to get them there. Mike shot our wedding and it was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish. From the engagement photos - that we cherish so much that we actually had them on display at our wedding - to the relationship we've built with Mike, we can't think of a more talented and down to earth couple to work with. Mike and Chellise both are able to capture the natural moments of your day in a fun loving, light hearted way. Chellise and Mike are absolutely fantastic. From the moment we met them, we knew they were the perfect fit for us. Their energy is unmatched -- they're kind, comforting, hilarious, incredibly efficient yet laid back at the same time, and you pretty much just want to hang out with them 24/7 bc they are awesome human beings who are also amazingly talented.

I've been to weddings before where the photographers and videographers can feel invasive, like a distraction. That couldn't be further from the case with Chellise and Mike. In fact, we had multiple guests mention how much they enjoyed interacting with Chellise and Mike throughout the night and how everything felt very natural. I have to say, one of the highlights was seeing Mike on the dance floor busting some moves with the guests while capturing some absolute gems of everyone dancing the night away.

All of the photos that we received perfectly capture the energy and emotion of the day and we couldn't have asked for anything more. My husband and I, our family, and our friends are all blown away by the quality of the photos -- Chellise and Mike know how to make you look gooood. Oh, and they also shot a few rolls of film on our wedding day for no additional cost which was completely unexpected and we are sooo grateful for because the photos are bomb. Weddings are complex, magical, once in a life time events. In our case, about 10 months of intensive planning for one night of our lives. The planning comes with a lot of pressure and excitement, and the true success of the big day, I believe, is the village you surround yourself with. The team of artists and support systems that allow you to have the best day of your life.

The easiest and best decision I made during the process, was working with the Incredible Mike Busse to capture our wedding. When I say I feel like I've known Mike for lifetimes, i'm deadass. He's a spirit so singular. When we hopped on a zoom call after my initial reach out, the instant warmth and connection was so felt. He was asking all the right questions about our vibe and what we hoped our wedding to be, and by the end of our call I knew that he was the perfect person to collaborate with.

Mike captured our day brilliantly. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and he knows exactly how to capture organic moments, while also making sure you have your "must have" pics accounted for. His eye, playfullness, and ability to be EVERYWHERE and hang with ANYONE made our guests night. As so many other reviews reflect, many of our guests assumed we had known Mike for years. He's a chameleon of the highest order, and his framing of the people and world of your wedding, will reflect palpably when you look at your photos.

I can't count how many times I gasped, seeing my beautiful wedding, my beautiful community captured so perfectly.
