I have been a patient of Dr Crook for 5 years. He has been excellent. I saw four different ENT doctors before finding Dr Crook. He performed sinus surgery on me 4 years ago. I have severe sinus issues and I am having to have a revision surgery. He is always detailed and thorough. He is one of the best doctors I have seen. His nurse is also incredible, she is always quick to respond when I leave a message.

I am so happy I found Dr Crook. I’ve seen 3 other ENTs in Nashville (was not impressed by any of them) and have been a patient of ENTs in other cities all my life (I’m 32). Dr Crook was the first one to diagnose me with a sharply deviated septum as a possible cause of my lifelong symptoms, and he performed septoplasty on me last week. I’m admittedly an anxious patient and he had clear, confident, medically based answers for ALL of my questions. He’s gentle during exams and procedures, and just has a calming presence despite having to perform some uncomfortable things. (Let’s face it, ENT visits can be painful just by nature of the areas they’re dealing with) I highly recommend Dr Crook!

Full disclosure: My wife works in surgery at a local hospital and has often worked with Dr. Crook. In fact, this is how I learned of him, as she highly referred both Dr. Crook and/or Dr. Viner, also of OAT, and for no reason in particular I chose Dr. Crook. Whereas I'd previously visited NUMEROUS doctors over the past ten years trying to track down the SOURCE of my symptoms; and whereas my primary physician REPEATEDLY insisted on sending me to a sleep specialist (where I knew my symptoms would be treated with a CPAP machine but the CAUSE of the symptoms would remain unresolved)... Dr. Crook was THE man to come to my rescue. The standard routine seems to be for doctors to politely insinuate you are overweight and suffer from sleep apnea. Dr. Crook took me seriously enough to send me for a C-T scan. This scan revealed I had a VERY deviated septum, working in tandem with rather angry/enlarged turbinates. Thank God I resisted the CPAP route, as Dr. Crook suggests that a CPAP wouldn't have been much help with the condition I had. Although the recovery from my septoplasty with Dr. Crook was excruciating for a few days (complicated by another health issue I have), less than a week later, I now feel like I haven't felt since I was a child. I jokingly told Dr. Crook he was like a god to me, and he just humbly chuckled and blushed, but seriously... If you read a review saying he "messed up" someone's nose, you should be aware that either [a] someone wasn't clear on the English language that was coming out of this doctor's mouth, or [b] has some other bone to pick (a competitor, maybe?), because this doctor is awesome. He quite LITERALLY saved my life, as my health had been slowly declining for more than a decade and most physicians simply wrote me off as a hypochondriac. I will be sending my brother to see Dr. Crook in the (hopefully near) future, as I know he suffers from the same conditions. Dr. Crook may suffer (as many of us have) from anonymous trolls, but if you pay attention to ANY reviews, let it be THIS one. This doctor is AWESOME, and literally saved my life when so many others couldn't be bothered.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Crook and with his audiologists. I have not had to wait long in the office and have received excellent care every time. I highly recommend him.
