Dr. Rieg himself was great. I had a nerve conduction test. He explained the results to me when he was finished and I left pretty happy. The down fall is the way they bill for the test. I used my debit card to pay my $20 copay the day of the appointment. Imagine my surprise when a couple days later they took another $310.14 out of my account WITHOUT my authorization. Luckily I had the money to cover that, but my concern is for those who do not. It could have caused MAJOR problems financially.
When I contacted the office I had to leave a message. When they called me back they left me a message stating that this was how they collected payment for their services and they apologized that it was not disclosed to me at the time of the appointment.
I claimed the charge as fraud, because they never asked for my consent to charge my card and the payment was reversed. Today I received a bill along with a letter telling me if I didn't pay in full within 7 days they were sending me to collections. This place is insanely unreasonable. Don't let your doctor tell you they are the only place in town that provides these services because they are not. And if you go here DO NOT use your credit/debit card.

I had an appointment with Dr. Rieg at 2:30 on October 4, 2016. I was finally escorted into the office for a nerve conductivity test at 3:45. I had spent 1 hour and 15 minutes in the waiting room. The person who administered the first part of the test was very nice and apologized for my pain every time he administered a shock. Then Dr. Rieg came in and continued the test. Two weeks later on October 18, I had an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon, the doctor who had ordered the test. The results of the test had not been received, so the orthopedic surgeon called Dr. Rieg's office and was told that the results were not available. The result, of course, was that my visit to my orthopedic surgeon was for naught, since she had no more information that when I had first seen her. She simply told me that I had peripheal neuropathy, but had nothing to offer in the way of treatment since she had not received the results of the nerve conductivity test. I wrote a letter to Dr. Rieg's office, telling him that he should not bill Medicare or my supplemental insurance since his office had not delivered the results of the test. Today I received a statement saying that both Medicare and my supplemental had paid him--Medicare $378.11 and Equitable $301.25. He had originally bill $800. I have a call in to Medicare to contest the bill.
