Today, after waiting 20 minutes for my appointment, I decided I no longer want Dr. Gomez to serve as my primary care physician. I had an 8 am appointment for my yearly physical. An 8 am appointment is perfect because I'm the first patient of the day. However, by almost 8:20, I had to inquire with the receptionist how much longer I was going to need to wait. I was told they have a staff shortage (due to illnesses) but my appointment should start soon. I live 45 minutes away from Dr. Gomez's office. I left my home at 7 am. I was at the office when they unlocked the door. I was the first patient, yet I was still waiting. As the patient, I want to feel like my doctor cares about my time and honors the appointment I made. When I expressed my disappointment to the receptionist, I was not met with understanding or compassion. I was not made to feel valued. This is not a medical practice I would recommend to others.

Dr Gomez has accomplished what all my other doctors could not get done when fighting insurance. I will also say her staff was extremely friendly and responded to all my messages in approated amount of time. When reading her other reviews remembet their is always two different sides to a review and she cant tell her side of the story. I hate that doctors can't respond to reviews because of Hipaa rules it really puts them at a disadvantage and really is not fair to them. Also you have to take in account people that had a good experices don't always leave a review and I would go even farther saying most dont take the time to right a review. When someome gets mad they are quick to leave a bad review even when its not actually the doctors fault. I am leaving my review because I felt the doctor and her staff went above and beyond for me and we need more doctors, front staff and nurses like them.

I had a 💯 great experience with Dr. Gomez and her staff. She is intelligent and took the time with me as a first time patient to listen to me. Her nurse followed up twice with follow up results via the phone with hours of results. I will recommend her to anyone needing general care!! My son saw her PA and had a similar experience.

Dr. Nora Gomez and her staff are the most knowledgeable, responsible, and caring professionals in the medical field. Dr. Gomez saved my life by researching and identifying a life threatening heart issue after three weeks of other medical opinions that were inaccurate. She is a phenomenal doctor, along with my exceptional Cardiologist, Dr. Gerald Mancuso. I do not agree with any negative comments about Dr. Gomez and her staff.
I continue to value and appreciate the services of Dr. Nora Gomez and her staff. 2024!!

She misdiagnosed my wife for over a year, telling her she had “UTI’s”. After a year of not getting better we changed Dr.’s and my wife was diagnosed with multiple myeloma two months later. Stay away!

Dr. Gomez is a nice physician but her staff and her nurses are awful. I liked her previous nurse a lot but the current one, ASHLEY SMITH, is extremely rude and incompetent. I've been calling since 7/23 for a 90 prescription and today is 8/1 and she can't seem to get this sent over accurately. I called 7/23 at around 1pm and never got a call back. I called again 7/25 at 8 am when they opened and left another message and she didn't call back until after 5 pm, close to 6. Ashley was extremely rude. I tried explaining to her which prescriptions i needed to be 90 days very quickly because I was at work. I said "can you send these 3 prescriptions over for 90 days, i'm at work. i can't stay on the phone. i'll call back when I have more time" she says to me " call back when you're not rude". AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE. the people in this office lack compassion and i feel sorry for Dr. Gomez. They will hinder her business.

Can I give negative stars? I see why she only has a 2.9 for her reviews. DO NOT GO HERE!! They are going to charge you over $500 for a new patient visit. Then let you sit there for 2 hours waiting to talk to her for 30 mins. And they tell you they had a patient emergency, which after reading reviews, that seems to be the norm. Then we you call about the billing, after of month of leaving messages with no return call, I waited on hold for 15 mins to be told oh well. Sorry you feel that way. Oh, and by the way, her nurses need to get cleaned up. Looking like they have been dipping in the meds.
*Update* Big shocker, talked to the manager on 1/14, she said she would talk to the manager about crediting my account since they already have $500 paid by my insurance company. Haven't heard back and called today 1/28 and got, "Oh that's right I did talk to you. I talked to the doctor and she isn't going to credit you. Sorry to have to deliver that news to you". I would highly recommend NOT going here. Their follow up alone makes me question if they're really taking care of their patients. Sounds like they are just out over charge and provide bad customer service for an extremely high rate. Too bad, cuz I work with 1500 people right across the street and will continue putting the word out.
