The receptionists are the worst ever. I have been at this practice for 14 years. The reason I stay is because the doctors are good, especially Dr Wilson. But reception is disgusting. They don’t allow you to speak, they talk over you and patronise you. It takes ages to get through and when you do there are no appointments, even when you call at 8am. They cannot handle the amount of patients they have yet there are huge new signs saying “taking new patients”. The reception here has always been bad with rude staff, even when Barbara was there but now it’s so much worse with all the extremely rude Nigerian receptionists. It’s very stressful when you or your children are sick and you have to face calling this reception. I hate it. They have messed up on 2 different referrals that were supposed to be made, I had to chase them many times. Very disorganised. But I would like to thank Dr Wilson, he listens and genuinely helps.

I come on Thursday to speak to someone about my daughter concerns.
I found practice manager of DrAru called Debbie.
she was so helpful and she gave me a shoulder to lean on.
Regardless I was not the patient.
She give me all the information I needed.
She healed my heart which was so down
She talked to me very professionally.
Thank you

I have been with this surgery since birth
No particular reason as they have never done anything to help improve or maintain my health I have never had yearly check ups ever! And over the years my mental health has declined significantly and I have not had any support from my doctor
Even though I was in hospital and the hospital gave them a fool proof blueprint to follow to get me the help I needed it still was not done
The doctors are lazy try to give old medications that have been removed from your prescription because they no longer work or are bad for you
They don't want to hear more than one thing at a time so God forbid if your sick with multiple things
I honestly feel like dying
You can't get nothing done withoutGP support
It's disgraceful

It is a bad joke. I had an appointment for 10 am. I've been waiting almost 1 hour to see someone. My hospital documents missing. They are not professional at hole. I am going to change them straight a way. It is not first time. They should change people who are working there. For more nice and empathetic

The receptionist are always giving out the complete wrong medications whenever I ask for it. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

This is the worst GP I've had in this country. Never have appointments. You call for blood test results and nobody knows, even though their answer machine says to call after 11am for blood test results, they say you have to call at 8am for a normal medical appointment which is non-sense. They don't follow up on your conditions. Even to check results of tests they don't call you, you have to assume everything is ok. I understand the cuts but once the chaperone came in for my breast exam with the GP and told me she didn't want to be there for my test because she wanted to eat, she literally had to be there for 3 minutes not more than that, as standard procedure. I felt bad for her because probavly she had to deal with a lot but also this is not the service you deserve specially while checking something that could be sensitive for a person. If I was you I would register somewhere else.

This GP sugery should be looked at by the CQC again. The doctors don't keep up to with your medical conditions, they don't read the consultant reports nor follow their instructions, you have to physically show your own copy of the letter to them and chase and keep track on them. The administrative department also does not work closely with the doctors to get things done. To get a letter from the doctors always take at least 3months and they give you a very vague reports. This is a terrible stressful process. And they have successfully pushed me back into severe depression. I found out that I still can't manage stressful situations, very sad to know because I thought my mood was getting better but now worse. If the gp's are more passionate it will be helpful, patient would recover and get much better.
This review is to assist the Lister practice to do more and improve.

I gave 4 stars because Mr Dr Wilson is my favourite doctor.
All the doctors are good but I feel that he does listen and he doesn't seem to rush you off the phone. He also takes the time to listen to anything else you have to say that may not be relevant to your element when you have another concern. Lastly, he has a friendly and happy persona. So I do appreciate talking to Dr Wilson.
Also, the receptionist is always pleasant and they try and put you through to the right department. They are also so very helpful and patient on the phone. They are always there to help even if you come through at the wrong time. When you come to and see them at the front desk, there always cheerful and willing to help and assist as best as they can. So, good work overall.
