Ian took our wedding/elopement pictures and they are stunning! Such a lovely experience and we couldn’t be happier with the images. Ian did our August 2023 wedding at Traquair House and he was amazing. He built a great rapport with us and our guests and his pictures really show how much fun we all had. I really appreciated how he made sure to get some lovely pics of our friends and family because they all looked fantastic (and they were up for a wee pose)!

We cannot recommend Ian highly enough. We knew he was a fantastic photographer but what he produced for our wedding exceeded our expectations completely. His approach is relaxed and fun, which results in exceptionally natural images with everyone beaming and looking sensational. 2020 has been like no other year, and Ian’s flexible and steady approach helped us efficiently manage the multiple changes that were required. We had such a good time with Ian that we are looking forward to him capturing our anniversary celebration with all our initial guests who couldn’t attend in 2020.

Ian’s flexibility, thoughtfulness & craft are unmatched. He helped me capture my proposal at Traquair House and was so accommodating to all of my requests. He was familiar with the location and was very helpful with choosing the best place to capture the moment. Myself and my fiancé were overwhelmed with emotion & he did a great job talking us through the engagement photo-shoot and the results were everything we could have asked for. There is nobody else I would recommend in the Scottish borders. I hope our paths cross again!

An absolute lovely gentleman and a great laugh to have Ian capture me and my wife's special day in Traquair House in July.
We are over the moon with the quality and professionalism of our pictures........ He captured the day perfectly. A truely genuine person and we honestly believe our pictures wouldn't have turned out as good without Ian.
