No one could have captured the moments of the best day of my life, better than Joshua Dwain Photography!! Joshua and his wife Anye photographed my husband and I for our engagement pictures and our wedding and everything about the experience was top tier! They are an amazing team and made us feel super confident throughout the whole experience. They had my husband feeling himself and he doesn’t even normally like taking pictures. They give great direction for posing and go above and beyond for the perfect shots. They are also super personable. They were joking around and getting to know my family. The turn around time is also quick for final pictures. It was just a 100/10 experience!

My fiance and I had an excellent experience with Josh. Both he and his wife arrived promptly (15 minutes early) to our appointment in DUMBO, and from the jump, demonstrated nothing but class and professionalism. It was evident that he genuinely enjoyed photogarhy and the artistry that goes into it. He offered new ideas in addition to the ones we came with, and as we passed certain landscapes that matched our attire day of, he would suggest we take photos there, and they came out stunningly well. Matt Ellis of Joshua Dwain photographed my wedding in Brooklyn this past July. The process from start to finish was seamless: booking to filling out the questionnaires to speaking to Matt on the phone so he could get to know us better as a couple and what we were looking for in our wedding pictures. On our wedding day, Matt and his team captured all of the pictures we wanted (including directing family and friends to get in and out of pictures!) and stayed within the schedule our wedding planner set. It was very impressive. During our ceremony and reception, we didn't even notice Matt. We were BLOWN AWAY by the pictures and how he was able to capture emotions, feelings, and movement. His pictures genuinely capture our wedding day and tell our wedding day story. It's truly amazing how we're able to look at the pictures and remember how we felt during those moments and even look at the pictures and relive some of the moments we weren't able to observe firsthand. I highly recommend Matt and can't wait to have him photograph another milestone in our lives. Matt, you're a true artist.
