I had sent my drone in because it was flying sideways and I couldn’t control it and it crashed and broke the legs and the camera disconnected. They finally repaired it and sent it back. I haven’t gotten the chance to fully test it out however when I got it out of the box the camera was still disconnected. (I was able to put it back on wasn’t hard however I feel like if Im paying to repair the drone you should reconnect the camera.) Also, the guys are professional to talk to, however the communication is extremely bad!!! If I need to use them again in the future I hope the same issues do not happen again.

Highly recommend MADS for drone services & repairs.

After a recent very poor service experience on another drone with DJI's Repair Service (poor communication, ridiculous almost 3 week waiting time for an enterprise drone service, and defective parts installed by DJI), I decided to give the local store a visit. Preston was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. He was able to get a small repair completed very quickly (at a very reasonable price also!) and helped ensure our workhorse drone stays safely in the air for our scheduled jobs.

I could not have asked for a better experience and we will absolutely be back for any future needs!

My Phantom 3 Pro 4K became one with a stand of maple trees on a windy day. The damage was considerable, but Preston had it repaired and flying perfectly in short order. The drone is back in service doing real estate and home construction videos - thanks to Madison Area Drone Service!

I had taken my drone to another drone service company and, after having it for over a week, they were unable to identify the problem. I had a trip planned to go out west, and as luck would have it, I would be going past Madison Area Drone Service. I figured in the best case scenario, I would have to leave the drone and pick it up on my way home, after my 3-week trip.

When I walked into Madison Area Drone Service, I was met by the owner, Preston. He was very pleasant. I explained the problems I was having with my drone and right away he shared what he believed the issue was. When I told him I was from out of state, he told me no problem just mail the drone to him. He said that he would diagnose the problem, free of charge, and contact me with the repair price for my approval, prior to any repairs being done.

When I told him I had the drone with me, he told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it. I was amazed!! Within minutes of looking at the drone he confirmed the problem, which turned out to be exactly what he thought it was when I first walked in.

Preston not only repaired the issue, but he took the time to go outside and fly the drone with me to make sure it was operating properly.

I left that day with my drone to take on our family vacation. I was able to capture great footage from our trip with the drone.
