Steve Lawson and his son photographed my wedding day. They more than exceeded my expectations with everything. Their editing is what initially sold me, and they did not disappoint. Steve was so much fun and made the entire day so fun and easy. He gave us a ton of direction, provided us with more photos than I ever imagined getting back, and was overall amazing the entire wedding day/following-up. 10/10 recommend and would 110% hire again for future photo sessions!

I don’t even know where to begin. My husband and I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and wanted to redo our wedding pictures on the beach during our vacation to Ft Lauderdale. I contacted Michelle Lawson Photography after a web search, and I’m so glad I did! They were awesome to work with and very reasonably priced.

Steve was very professional and made us comfortable right away. He was able to capture our love, and have a ton of fun along the way. He spent plenty of time with us getting the shots just right. Steve, Adam, Rob and Caleb were top notch from beginning to end, particularly considering it was record breaking heat on that day and the entire event was outdoors! We had Rob as our main photographer for our wedding, so most of my review is going to be about him, but before I sing his praises, I'll say some stuff about the company in general.

Michelle Lawson goes above and beyond to make sure that you are happy from the start. They accommodated my requests by creating a special package out of their norm and even met with myself and my mom IN PERSON. As well they were one of the ONLY companies that did not charge a "travel fee" to come to Key Largo, some companies quoted me over $1500 to drive from Fort Lauderdale to Key Largo.

Now lets get to the GREAT stuff. My wedding day was almost rained out, I was a mess but as soon as Rob arrived with his team they brought the sunshine! Literally and figuratively, the rain cleared right before they arrived and Rob was a BEAM of positivity and energy (as always).

In some cases a photography team can get in the way during a wedding but Rob and his team felt like part of the family! They laughed and danced and got the BEST party shots, along with STUNNING traditional shots.

Rob even helped bustle my dress! To me that says it all. Do yourself a favor and stop the endless search for an amazing photographer, if you're reading this, you found him, hire the best team there is..Michelle Lawson!!

Hiring Michelle Lawson Wedding Photography was among the best decisions we made for our wedding day! We had the pleasure of having Steve Lawson and his eldest son, Caleb, be our photography team for our intimate wedding. Not only were they both professional, talented, and fun to work with, but they made us feel relaxed and captured the most fabulous photos over the course of our entire wedding day. They worked with us to determine that what we wanted was mainly candid shots with minimal staged family photos. The guys were efficient and cranked out the family photos quickly which we, and all of our guests, greatly appreciated. The photos themselves are simply spectacular and I love that all of them are ours to keep, without any watermarks or the pressure and cost of having to choose a handful of photos to purchase afterwords. Being able to simply send our friends and family members a link to all of the photographs for them to peruse and download themselves is a brilliant policy and such a luxury! Hire these people - you won't regret it!

All I can say is WOW. From the very beginning, Michelle Lawson Photography was AMAZING. From our photographer, Rob, and his assistance, Marcie, to the on-point communication from everyone, our pictures went off without a hitch.

On our wedding day, Rob and Marcie came in as two amazing, positive human beings who were ready to have fun! If I had to sum them up in three words: prepared, punctual, and positive. Although I had spoken with Rob a few times before, his excitement for my wedding made me feel like the most special bride in the world. Rob was very detailed and helped me (probably the most awkward person ever) capture amazing photos that I will have forever! He was with us from 12:00 PM to a little after 12:00 AM and I swear, I have no idea how he did it, but his energy was radiating literally all night. From the very beginning to the very end, MLP and Rob were so helpful, accommodating, and I literally cannot help but sing their praises.

If you're still deciding on your photographer, go with Michelle Lawson Photography. You will not be disappointed.
