My daughter did her headshots here and it really was a fabulous experience from beginning to end— from the hair and makeup artist to the studio assistant in front, everyone was welcoming and warm, supportive and encouraging in a way that made this not just a productive photography session, but a wonderful experience for my daughter.

I don’t think there are enough words to describe how WONDERFUL Shandon and his team were!! Shandon masterfully brought my vision to life and I couldn’t be more pleased with my photos. He was very professional but also very fun and kind! He guided me throughout the shoot, giving notes and directions to help me achieve the look I was going for. His studio was super cool as well and is perfect if you prefer textured background in your headshots. I received my photos within 48 hours and the platform to review my photos was the easiest I’ve ever used. Payment and scheduling were also ridiculously easy. 12/10 recommend and will definitely be going back!!

Shandon is the best. Look no further - you must you shoot with him. Not only is he an amazing photographer, he is so much fun and makes the whole experience super easy. He also understands what your agent wants which is hugely important and he directs you so you feel like you’re actually part of your photo shoot while getting the looks you need. His studio is so professional and the amount of backgrounds he provides is unbelievable. His staff is super sweet and you must get your hair and make up done by Hanuko. My hair and make up were impeccable. Shandon is a true professional and ultimately a very talented artist.

This is my second headshot session with the talented Shan. I always have fun as he directs me through the emotions and blcokung. This time, I did slate shots. He takes the time to pick the write wordrobe/ colors. He is very generious withe amount of shots and takes. And most important. We have fun with it.

Shandon is the best headshot photographer in LA! He takes the time with you to make sure he understands what kinds of headshots are needed, helps put together outfits (from your clothes choices), takes many pictures of each outfit using different backgrounds to showcase different tones, and helps with making sure everything looks perfect! Shandon is amazingly creative, observant, detailed, positive, and always professional. 🙂
I highly recommend him for any actor/ actress in LA!

I didn't realize how AWFUL my past headshots were until I went to Shandon. I'm not being dramatic. Looking through Shandon's work made all of my past photos seem highly retouched, fake, and they just didn't look like me.
Shandon captured my essence perfectly. And the craziest part...all I felt during our session was that I was having fun on a film set. He was doing the hard work so I could just breathe, be me, and let him capture it all.
Fitz is as absolute gem, he answered all of my questions prior, during and post booking. Even my MHU artist, with whom Shandon regularly works, Hanako, was the BEST.
Shandon's studio is beautiful. It's tucked into an artist's collective downtown. You will have YOUR OWN DRESSING ROOM to organize your outfits, your accessories, and have a place to breathe in between looks. There are tons of backgrounds readily available for your photo session. Shandon's direction during shots is superb. The vibe is casual, comfortable, and professional (without being pressurized). Have I said enough? The best headshot photography in LA.

I needed to have my daughter's headshots updated while traveling through Los Angeles on a Broadway tour. We're from the East Coast, so I got a recommendation from a friend and booked Shandon. From the first contact with Fitz, Shandon's assistant, I could tell we were in great hands. We only had one day off that would work with our schedule and Fitz made sure we were able to make it happen. When we arrived, Shandon immediately started joking with my daughter to make her feel comfortable, and he shot above and beyond what was expected. We left the studio on Tuesday afternoon and I had proofs in my email at 9:00 am on Wednesday. I sent final selections for the most minimal retouches I've ever needed from a photographer on Thursday afternoon, and had everything back on Friday at 9:00 am. I am just amazed by every aspect of this process. My only regret is that we don't live on the West Coast because I would never use another photographer again. Simply the best! My 10 yr old just shot with him and he makes the entire process so easy for both the child and parent! I had no stress while he worked his magic and we got a TON of different looks. We received the images SAME day! His whole team is very professional and the results are amazing!
