I cannot express how much I love my Passport photos. I went to staples originally and I had the worse service, the most horrendous photo. I found Vancouver Star on google and gave them a try.
Vancouver Star Image charges $38.00 and it is worth every penny. Everyone was incredibly kind from when I called to book to when my photos were taken. The photographer allowed me to look at the photos before printing. He just has an amazing attention to detail.

Very professional photographer and very nice service. We love the passport photos

Won’t recommend coming here for passport photo. Photo and editing was good, but service and attitude of the owner was poor.

Did not carefully check the photo requirement I sent them. Photos produced in incorrect format repeatedly, even though I have given them the requirement far in advance. Took them a week to fix it.
Unresponsive to text after payment. No apologies for the delay or mistakes made.

Perhaps owner should consider cancelling the passport service since they do not seem to value this group of customers.

Editing was good and the owner seems professional with their photo taking skill. But they were very impatient and irresponsible.

After we received the electronic photo with insufficient pixels took from there for our passport application, we requested to have another one with higher pixel. Instead of trying to understand the problem and resolve it, the owner just blamed it's our problem and said no other customers have ever encountered.

Called the owner and only had to show him the specs of the photos by comparing the one took from other image service, eventually they fixed the photo, 1-star for that.

I had a professional portrait done here. Jack was very helpful and prompt with sending the photos. He was really responsive to requests and the pricing was very reasonable. A very seamless experience; it was obvious this studio has a lot of experience.

Exceptional photography & service. Their studio has very professional tools for lighting, and gave me very detailed advice on my posture & angles for my LinkedIn photo. The photographer took multiple snapshots and the photos looked more natural than a static pose.

Their service is also outstanding. I wasn't good with smiles, but they place a stand and hang a mirror next to the camera so I could adjust my smile for the camera.

The end photos were, of course, stellar and amazing. My best facial features were captured in the photo.

If you just want an average and mediocre photo, then this place is not for you, just go find some photographers that take passport photos. However, if you look for a studio that is serious about photography and aim only for top quality, then this is the one for you.
