I have been a nurse over 20 years. I would the type of care you’d want to receive if you were me. This clinic was treating me for hardware infection & osteomyelitis in my lumbar spine. Extremely painful in case you wondered. 1/9/21 I fell at a chalet while on vacation. I told them I went to ER in Sevierville and was informed of high liver enzymes. Tylenol is contra-indicated with elevated liver enzymes. This new information was ignored in addition to the extra amount of pain I was induring post fall down stairs 1/9/21. My PCP faxed proof of 2 fractured ribs we learned about after pain wasn’t getting better and hurt badly to breathe or raise right arm to reach for anything in cabinet or fridge. They claimed never got fax from my PCP MD about fractured ribs 2/2/21, and I gave a copy from LeConte ER showing labs. I had sore throat and cough so 2/10 appt was rescheduled but I asked again about receiving proof of the 2 broken ribs plus new labs my primary doctor did showing liver enzymes elevated even more. I was told never received. Finally, I’m upset in a lot of pain and had to reschedule appointment to protect them in case I was contagious on 2/10 appt. We received snow so several appointments were rescheduled by them. I ran out of meds on 2/15 & they showed zero care. The office was blaming each other for my phone visit (due to clinic closing) being moved several times over 4 day period. It was clear they did not care that a patient on 25mcg Fentanyl for severe hardware/lumbar bone infection, plus they reduced oral pain meds in January, knowing about fall. I could have gone into full blown withdrawals if ran out of meds abruptly while office was changing appointment without telling you after clinic closed. Even after being told of fall that caused severe concussion & elevated liver enzymes, plus severe bruising on various areas they could see at January appt. February was a phone appointment and still not acknowledging the new information about broken ribs and severe concussion from 1/9/21 fall was sent many times. Finally after calling everyday several times a day the week 2/10 & rescheduled 2/15/21 and then Josh rescheduled me due to snow to video visit on Tuesday and it didn’t happen so I called about lunch to be told they had video problems so it was rolled to regular phone call. They never called but stated they did. I called after 10:30am because my appointment was to be 8am & never happened. Then told I’d be put on next day. This happened again until finally Josh rescheduled me to 2/17/21. I had been out of serious pad meds and in horrible pain from the bone/lumbar hardware infection plus 2 fractures of the right side 4th &5th lateral riibs. On 2/2/21 we learned of the fractured ribs due to relentless pain trying to sleep, breathe or use right arm to lift or reach. They were sent the fax several times but claimed didn’t. They increased my oral pain medicine that HAD TYLENOL in it by 1 pill a day. Ignoring elevated liver enzymes and severe pain on 2/17 phone visit. 3/4/21 I went to see them in person at office appointment to discuss them ignoring my additional pain from 2 broken ribs and elevated liver enzymes. I was given an dictation note from my neurosurgeon they took out of context due to him not listing exact dates I had surgeries and seen orthopedic in hospital plus ER visits in addition to my Rheumotogist and uro-gynecologist. This pain clinic acted like junior high kids & passed me Dr. Hubbard dictation because THEY took out of context about doctors involved in my care since 2010 to present. I’ve seen specialist due to autoimmune disease, plus due to complications from last 2 surgeries & most recent fall. Their intentions were clearly passive aggressive to attempt to cause strife. Thankfully Dr. Hubbard was easily reached by phone and gladly clarified the wording very politely THEY TOOK OUT OF CONTEXT. He & I both very surprised of the degree of unprofessional treatment and clear intentions were to cause strife. I alerted my PCP and she already had a referral to another pain clinic due to neglect weeks ago.
